Iran's defensive system and Islamic governance have disturbed sleep of enemies

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani underscored the need for strengthening the country's defensive and military capability saying Iran's defensive and Islamic systems have disturbed the enemies' thoughts and mental equations.

Sardar Bagheri

According to a report by the official website of Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani (may he live long), this great religious authority of the Shia world met today noon with major general Bagheri, the chief of the army staff and his deputies. Referring to Islam's emphasis about Jihad of the Islamic Ummah, His Eminence said, "When it comes to developing a cadre, Islam has tried to create a cadre that is unique in the world."

He added, "A cadre of experts according to Islam has features such as faith and strong belief. There are many military and armed forces around the world but the faith, belief and understanding that are characteristic of Iran's Islamic army and military are unique in the world."

His Eminence termed faith and insight as the assets of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran saying, "The fact that Supreme Leader stresses time and again on faith and insight is because faith coupled with insight are helpful and lead to progression. Faith and insight put something into motion and create epic."

He went on saying, "Another feature of an Islamic cadre is bravery. Given the principles of Islam, it encourages Muslims to be brave with reliance on faith and trust in Allah, the Exalted. Indeed, the bravery of the armed forces of Iran has not been witnessed elsewhere."

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani further said that those who are faithful, sincere and brave are more likely to excel others in traversing the path of Allah. "Such people" He said "can create epic and can stand up against the enemy without fear."

"The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran should make sure that the individuals they recruit are faithful, committed, brave and insightful. There are many verses in the Quran about dealing with the enemies of Islam in a decisive way. The Quran insists that the enemy must observe and feel the decisiveness and strength of the forces of the Islamic Ummah," His Eminence remarked.

Referring to the verse 60 of Chapter al-Anfal (And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them), His Eminence said that the enemies of Islam and God should fear the Islamic Ummah. Elsewhere the Quran says that all those areas where the enemies might lay in ambush must be closed to the enemies. Therefore, we must take action with precision and insight so that the enemy is never able to inflict a blow from anywhere.

Referring to the recent terrorist attack in Khash, he added, "The people of Pakistan are good and peace loving but at the same time there are people over there who have been influenced by Wahabism and Al-e Saud. When it comes to such incidents, it is necessary that the armed forces deal with the matters seriously and make sure they do not happen again."

Referring to Muhammad b. Salman's visit to Pakistan, His Eminence said, "Bin Salman is supposed to go to Indonesia and Malaysia after Pakistan while the Muslim people of these countries do not like to see this man travelling to their countries but governments of these countries do not go along with the people."

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani highlighted the importance of taking security measures to prevent terror attacks while respecting all norms concerning our relations with the neighboring Pakistan. His Eminence stressed that the terrorists must not be allowed to move around and threaten the country.

He further said that the Iranian people are very strong and faithful and that late Imam Khomeini said that the Muslim people of Iran are stronger than the Muslims who lived in the time of the Holy Prophet (S). Praise belongs to Allah, the armed forces of Iran are in a high level of faith, insight, bravery and commitment and they are acting upon the religious teachings and doctrines."

He went on saying, "The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are a strong power in the world; they have special power and the enemy can never dare commit the smallest mistake. Sometimes, they do make foolish talks saying they have options on the table but they cannot dare do anything against Iran."

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani further emphasized the need to strengthen the defense and security of the country, saying: "We must be stronger day by day, so that the enemy cannot do the slightest thing against the country and cannot penetrate it. All areas where the enemy may possibly ambush must be shut down to them."

"The revenge of the blood of the martyrs must be taken from the terrorists and their supporters. The supporters of these terrorists gathered in Warsaw to conspire against the revolution, but they will not be able to do anything because we trust the divine promises and believe that God will help you if you help God," His Eminence said.

At the end, the great religious authority of the Shia world stressed, "Everyone should understand the enemy cannot do and will not do anything for us, and we must strongly and adamantly pursue the goals of the revolution and Islam."
