In a meeting with several scholars from the Islamic Seminary of Qom, Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani said:

One of the central duties of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was to focus on monotheism, promote good morals, and strive against oppressors.
Today, seminary teachers must explain the path and conduct of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to students.

According to the reports released by the office of Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani (may he live long), the esteemed religious authority in his meeting with some seminary teachers from Qom stated: Today, the seminary, as a scientific and cultural center, must pay attention to all the issues of the people and respond to their needs according to the responsibilities placed upon it.

While congratulating the blessed births of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), he said: One of the Prophet’s most central duties was to focus on monotheism, promote good morals, and strive against oppressors. The infallible Imams (peace be upon them) also followed this path, and this is the duty of respected scholars today. The seminary teachers must explain this path to their students.

The esteemed religious leader also emphasized the issue of rapprochement between Islamic sects and denominations. He noted: We adhere to our fundamental beliefs, but we meet in an environment of respect and dialogue, free from insults. By focusing on our commonalities, we will unite against the enemy as one hand.

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani (may Allah grant him long life) stressed the principles of the Islamic Revolution and declared that, as in the past, we strongly defend the principles of the Imam and the Revolution, which are derived from the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). We ask all officials to pay attention to this, especially when giving responsibilities. Yes, there are different tastes and perspectives in political and cultural matters, and we should use all perspectives. However, if someone has officially acted against the system and been convicted, the situation is different. This is not a matter of differing opinions or political views. It is about crossing the principles of the Islamic Revolution. The same applies to international relations. Yes, good relations are beneficial, but they must preserve the dignity and interests of the country. However, when a country constantly shows hostility, imposes new sanctions every day, and responds to our goodwill with even more malice, the matter changes.

His Eminence condemned the recent crimes of the Zionist regime in Lebanon, stating: This regime has displayed its arrogant nature through the crimes in Gaza, and today it has become more evident in Lebanon. It has taken full advantage of the incompetence of some rulers of Islamic countries and the support of the U.S. and its allies.

He also reiterated his support for the new government, saying: The government is at the beginning of its journey, and it is necessary to assist it and solve problems, especially the economic issues. God willing, through unity, harmony, and consensus around the Supreme Leader and the principles of the Islamic Revolution and the thoughts of the late Imam, we will serve the people.
